You are entitled to a full refund if the counselor does not attend the session after 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment, and you have called their phone number and extension and contacted us through our website contact page. Dr. Jasmine S. Ambeau is a 15-year veteran teacher in the Miami–Dade County Public School District with certifications in ESOL and Gifted Education. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Florida (UF) and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in curriculum, research, and policy from Barry University. Her years of classroom experience, background in research, and personal philosophy gives her an advantage on issues in education as it relates to equity, student success, and curriculum design and implementation. She is the recipient of several educational recognitions such as the
Francisco R. Walker Miami-Dade County Teacher of the Year nominee and an Apple for A Teacher Award. Her work also includes serving faithfully in ministry geared towards children, teens, youths, young adults, women, and marriage. She and her husband, Rev. Vensen Ambeau, are co-founders of Journey 2 One (J2O), a marriage ministry based in South Florida that offers services in the form of retreats, workshops, and small groups sessions to Christian couples. She believes that #marriageworksbecauseGodworks and talks about it through her personal marriage blog. Whether it’s the classroom or the pulpit, Jasmine recognizes that ministry is people; therefore, the call to serve is one she does boldly yet humbly.
